Help Valeriya after a sudden death of mother

Hello, my name is Valeriya, and I'm in a really tough situation. My mother recently passed away due to alcohol overuse, and now I'm all alone at the age of 18. I still have a month left of high school. At this point in my life I am all on my own, only having my 5yo cat who has health conditions that I am not able to cover. As an immigrant, I have no relatives here to support me, and I can't go back to my home country because I have no one to come back to. For the last 3 years, if not more, my mother have been unemployed due to being a full time alcoholic. Everyday seemed like a nightmare to me. As of 13 I learned to speak to the doctors, insurance companies, and much more. Every other week she would get into a hospital and I was forced to find a job to pay my daily needs. All this time the rent debt was growing. Today the debt is around 15k and the landlord is looking to put that on me since my mother is not with us anymore. However, due to the circumstances I had to leave my part-time job. I'm not in a physical nor mental condition to look for another employment. This means I do not have money to pay for rent or basic living expenses, and my living situation is very uncertain. I also have a cat with health issues, which adds to my financial burden.
