Help us have our first plant-based festival in Nelson!

Hello, my name is Laura Kaplan. I am asking for your support to help bring to life the very first plant-based festival. This festival is welcome to all: vegans, plant-based, vegetarian, flexitarian, vegan-curious, vegan supporters and non-vegans alike. This festival encourages and celebrates a plant-based lifestyle, the promotion of the welfare and protection of animals through eating more plant-based and the environmental and health benefits of adopting a plant-based lifestyle.

Nelson is a very kind and caring community that prides itself on a compassionate and ethical stance on all things. We believe that a plant-based festival only supports what Nelson already believes in, which is the humane and ethical treatment of all those that share our planet with us.

Whether or not you are vegan or plant-based you are welcome here. If you love animals, want to help the environment, or want to learn about healthy food choices, this festival is for you.
