Help Velia Help Jacob

Hi, my name is Irma, and I'm fundraising for my sister Velia Astone. On May 1st, while visiting a friend in Long Beach, CA Jacob was a passenger in a car accident. As a result, Jacob has a broken back and cannot move his legs or hands. Since the accident, Velia has been at Jacob's side and intends to stay with him until he is out of the hospital and during the estimated 6 to 8 weeks of rehabilitation until he can be moved back to their home in Antioch, CA.

Being 375 miles from home, Velia has not been able to work or be with her other children, who depend upon her. As it currently stands, this will be the case for at least the next two months and most likely longer.

Velia is a single mom with the responsibilities for rent and bills weighing on her. She is a childcare provider for a family that has to make other arrangements while she is away. She would be very grateful for any financial assistance while she supports Jacob on his road to recovery.

First and foremost, thank you for your prayers for Jacob's healing. We serve a mighty God! For those of you who can, thank you very much for helping Velia and her family financially during this challenging season.
