Help Vera Long in her battle with cancer

Vera Long is a pillar of the Ojai community. Artist, activist, mother, friend…she shows up for everybody and works hard to organize events to help others and raise money and awareness for social and political causes. She puts her whole heart and soul into the things she believes in. She is a beautiful and passionate woman who you’ll always want on your side.

Unfortunately, Vera has been battling cancer for the past year, which has hindered her ability to work and make money to support herself. She has found herself burdened with medical and housing bills and she needs help. As a person who so often gives her energy to help others, she is in need of financial help from others at this time. As a community, please step up to help her in this time of great necessity. She requires extensive chest and abdominal surgery followed by a substantial radiation regimen.

She looks forward to teaching art to our public school kids again in the fall with your help.
