#Help Vera Sokolova: Recovery After Russian missile attack

Dear friends,

My name is Olha Vyshnevska, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my good friend, Vera Sokolova from Ukraine. Vera is 39 years old, she is a single mother and, like many others, has suffered greatly due to the war in Ukraine.

Before the war, Vera lived in the beautiful city of Mariupol and worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit and as a children's massage therapist. In the spring of 2022, she spent 1.5 months in the basement of her house with her children and elderly mother, hiding from bombs and rockets. Vera's home was destroyed, and she lost everything she had.

In the fall of 2022, Vera managed to escape from Mariupol. After a long period of depression and rehabilitation, she was able to return to work as a children's massage therapist and breastfeeding consultant. She has two wonderful children, Sergey and Maria. However, their trials were far from over.

On July 8, 2024, as a result of a Russian missile strike on Kyiv, Vera's apartment was destroyed. They once again lost everything they had. Fortunately, the children survived, but they need help to recover.

We are asking for your financial support for Vera and her family. We need to raise $5,000:

- $2,000 will go towards housing rent and document restoration.

- $3,000 will be used for consultations with psychologists for the entire family and to purchase essential items and equipment.
