Vermont Local of 65 years lost his home to a fire
Donation protected
Townshend Local of 65 years Otto Tarbell lost most of his house to a fire earlier last week that left him and his loved ones devastated. Driving to town the other day I noticed him and some of his family members attempting to start a long and messy clean up job. I decided to turn around and introduce myself and see if there was anything I could do to help. Otto was grateful but explained to me that he couldn’t pay me for my help. That didn’t stop me, I knew that as a human being that was willing and able to help that’s what I should do. We have been non stop cleaning for the past few days but the real work has only just begun. I am starting this GoFundMe for Otto and his family because in just a few short days of spending time with him I could see all of the people he has left an impression on over the years. We all need a little help sometimes. Right now Otto and his family could use some help to raise some funds for several things including a new roof, new insulation, drywall, flooring, lumber etc. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated and if you aren’t able to donate please share this GoFundMe page on your social media pages to spread the message and hopefully we can get Otto and his family back into a safe and comfortable living space.
