Help Verna keep Fuji Floral Design in business!

Many of us have enjoyed the fruits of Verna Tsunafuji’s talents over the years; her elegant exquisite and unique floral arrangements, her excellent customer service and her ability to add a touch of class to any event.  Now that is at risk. The City of Atlanta announced on March 23 a Stay At Home Order to combat Coronavirus. As a result, Verna was forced to close Fuji Floral Design.  Although the order is for 2 weeks, the future is uncertain as the spread of the COVID19 virus is still playing out in Atlanta and across the globe.  Meanwhile, Verna has fixed costs that she must pay without offsetting revenues. While there is talk of government assistance for small businesses, it will be down the road, and the immediacy of her financial obligations is now. 

On top of that, since December, her husband Don, owner of Sushinobo has been battling an aggressive form of cancer and unable to work.  His restaurant’s business like many others has plummeted, relying primarily on take out orders. Verna has had to work both her floral shop and keep Sushinobo running for the past 4 plus months, putting in over 13 hour workdays. She is one of the hardest working people I know.  But realistically it is a very difficult if not impossible pace to sustain.

Please help Verna weather the Stay At Home Order by donating what you can to this fund.  Money raised will go towards covering her fixed costs, and stave off permanent closure of Fuji Floral Design.  Which means we will continue to benefit from her beautiful work!  These are unusual and unprecedented times, but also an opportunity for each of us to exercise generosity.  Thank you for your consideration.
