Help Veronica's Mommy & Daddy be by her side
Donation protected
Veronica Katherine Strub (5 yrs.) was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Feb. 16th, 2022, just one day after being admitted to the Phoenix Children's Hospital Pediatric ICU. On Feb. 19th she received her first round of chemotherapy and began a long road to recovery.
Veronica's first 6 months of treatment will be aggressive with hospital stays and chemo. The total treatment time is 2 years.
This page aims to raise money to supplement the lost income of Veronica's family. As an esthetician and massage therapist her mom Kim only makes money when working. A donation will ensure Veronica will have her mommy and daddy next to her at all times, focusing on what is most important: getting their little girl better.
Words cannot begin to describe how close to my heart Veronica is. Her mom, Kim, has been one of my closest friends for more than 20 years. As a mother of a little girl just one year younger than Veronica, it broke my heart to hear Kim say, "I don't even know how to process this. I don't know how to explain cancer to my f*#king 5 year old. I'm f*#king lost and scared... Her whole f*#king life just changed in one night." (now seems like a good time to mention Kim is a Navy Veteran and talks like a Sailor)
But this isn't about Kim or me; this is about Veronica. She’s scared. She needs her mom and dad, her siblings, Kiya, Heisman and her twin sister, Zoey.
Donating will ensure that Veronica will not go through this alone. She’ll always have a parent by her side, holding her, telling her it will be okay.
Thank you in advance for any amount you can afford to give!
