Help Vet, Lucinda get Lifesaving Cancer Treatment

As a previous cancer survivor, I know what to expect when it comes to treating cancer.  In 2012, I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer, Stage I.  I worked diligently at healing my body but in 2015, I finally agreed to radiation therapy sponsored through the VA.  That was almost 5 years ago and excited to continue helping others with cancer as a health consultant, I was recently stopped in my tracks on March 3rd, 2020.  I received the daunting news of yet another cancer diagnosis.  This time it is lung cancer, Stage IIIB.  The tumor is quite large (size of an average thumb), along with an infected lymph gland and has the doctors very concerned.  They want to perform chemo and radiation therapy immediately, but that is what has caused my second cancer diagnosis.  Additionally, with  Covid 19, I am at extreme risk by receiving any conventional treatment as the treatment alone will put me in a very dangerous life-threatening state.  That is why I am choosing an alternative highly successful lung cancer treatment center.

     In addition to this life-changing news, I also received wonderful news that my daughter is having a baby.  I get to be a Grandma, that is, with your help.  Asking for help is not my norm.  In fact, as a very independent woman, asking for help is way beyond my comfort zone.  Normally I could work something out but under current Covid 19 conditions and the limited time I have to move on this, I decided to put my pride aside and lean into the generosity and compassion of others.  I recently read a message that said, "The extent to which you are willing to be supported is an indication of the love you have for yourself."  I not only have love for myself, but I so dearly want to continue sharing this love with my family and especially my future grandbaby.  Your willingness to support me in this dire need for help is beyond any words that I can express in gratitude.
