Help Veterans Thrive with Wounded Warrior Project
Tax deductible
Hello, we are 4 students from the University of North Texas currently studying Social Entrepreneurship. We looking to help raise funds for the Denton VFW. Our goal is to raise $ 1,000 through our beneficiary, The Wounded Warrior Project.
Every day, brave men and women serve our country, putting their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. Unfortunately, many of these heroes return home with physical injuries, PTSD, and other invisible wounds. Currently, in the United States, there are over 35,000 veterans who are homeless, and over 4,000 homeless veterans in Texas. The Wounded Warrior Project is committed to ensuring that these veterans receive the care, resources, and support they need to heal and thrive. Transitioning from military to civilian life can be a difficult journey for many veterans, especially those living with disabilities or mental health challenges. With your help, we aim to raise $1,000 to fund essential services such as mental health support, career counseling, adaptive sports, and rehabilitation programs—all at no cost to the warriors and their families.
Your generous contribution will directly support mental health and PTSD programs, career and education assistance, adaptive sports, and family caregiver resources. Every dollar counts—whether it’s $5, $50, or $500, your generosity can change lives. Of the donations, as little as $5 can help veterans get job support after the military, can help find them homes, provide meals, and even physical therapy for those who were wounded in the line of duty. The Wounded Warrior Project provides life-changing programs that empower our wounded heroes to rebuild their futures, but we cannot do it alone. Your donation can help provide warriors with therapy, counseling, and employment opportunities, ensuring that they receive the support they need to succeed. Together, we can give these heroes the opportunity to live fulfilling, independent lives despite the challenges they face.
Donate – Every contribution, big or small, makes an impact. Share – Spread the word on social media and encourage others to give. Support – Show our veterans that they are not alone in their journey. Our warriors fought for us—now it’s our turn to fight for them. Stand with us today by making a donation and giving hope to those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our wounded heroes. Please donate now and help us reach our goal!
Thank you for your support.
