Help Vex Secure a Safe Home

Hey everyone,

I go by Vex, and I'm reaching out because I'm in a difficult and urgent situation. My current living environment has become increasingly unsafe [Scroll to the bottom for details], and with my lease expiring on July 31st, I have a crucial opportunity to move to a safer place without the additional expense of breaking the lease early.

I rarely ask for help, it's been 3 years since my last GoFundMe, so reaching out now signifies just how serious this situation has become. While I do have a full-time job, it’s only recently started, and despite my best efforts, my savings are limited to $200-$500 due to ongoing struggles like car repairs and other unexpected expenses. I'm already picking up overtime hours, so I can't take on additional projects or commissions without risking burnout.

I'm asking for your support to help cover the costs associated with this move, including:

Application fees [As I will need to apply to multiple places.]

Security deposits (many places require $900+)

Moving truck expenses

The initial goal is set as it is because this would help me retain the few pieces of furniture and other material things I've managed to accumulate over the years instead of having to abandon or sell them to afford the move.

However at this point if I had to start from scratch with only my mattress and clothes, I'd be willing to do that. (I'd of course, prefer not to, if at all possible.}

I’ll also be selling personal original characters (OCs) for those interested. Also, sharing this would be greatly appreciated.
