Our goal for starting this fundraiser is to help Patley and his family WHILE ALSO respecting their wishes for absolute privacy during these unimaginable times.

Patley is the student who was attacked on November 9th at L.A. Ainger middle school, and due to his severe injuries he was bay-flighted from the school to a trauma center. As the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office updated, he has opened his eyes at times and moved his arms a bit - but he still faces many unknowns and a lengthy road to recovery ahead of him. His father is going to be out of work for an uncertain amount of time to help care for him, and his family is having to travel an hour and a half each direction to the hospital from their home.

Patley and his mother just moved to the United States about a month ago and he had just enrolled in the school recently. As a community let's wrap around this family during their time of need and support them as they care for their son.
