Help Victim of Mike Hirokawa Fighting for Her Life

In the early hours of Saturday morning, November 21st, a Honolulu woman narrowly escaped death at the hands of Michael T Hirokawa, who stabbed her in the anus and vagina and left her to die, while he quietly slept in a pool of her blood.
The victim, whose information we will be keeping confidential for her safety, is currently undergoing extensive medical and therapeutic care, and will need financial assistance for continued therapy as well as potential legal fees, live-in care support because of her injuries, and more.
For transparency - Nadine and Mykie (the named organizer and beneficiary) are members of AF3IRM Hawaiʻi, a collective of women of color, victim advocates, and feminist community organizers from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. We have listed our own names to protect the identity of the victim. We are directly connected with the sexual violence social service provider in Honolulu where Michael Hirokawa's victim is a client. The victim will use the funds to take care of her extensive health care bills or other basic necessities, as determined by the victim. As soon as the funds are released, the money will be withdrawn by the GoFundMe organizers and delivered directly to the victim liaison with the aforementioned social service provider.

Michael Hirokawa was released on $500,000 bail and while powerful, misogynistic men like him exist, none of us are safe.
