Hello, on behalf of all the family members of the victim of this crime, we are raising funds for our immediate family member (name withheld for their safety) as she a victim of a horrible crime that left her paralyzed and currently in rehab. She is without any financial means or resources.

There are many news articles about this crime, but we have limited the info here to the Prosecutor's Press Release as not to hinder their investigation and prosecution.

5/10/2023 Press Release

CLEVELAND - Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced that a Cuyahoga County grand jury has returned an indictment charging Dalontay Edmond-Geiger Sr., 31, for kidnapping, stabbing, and shoving a 60-year-old woman into a plastic container in Cleveland.
“I have seen a lot of truly terrible cases over the years, and this one is one of the most horrific I’ve seen,” said Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley. “Thankfully, law enforcement found her alive, and I am praying for her recovery.”
In May 2023, Dalontay Edmond-Geiger Sr. picked up the victim, 60, and gave her a ride to his residence near West 97th Street and Henley Court in Cleveland. He physically assaulted her, stabbed her in the arm, zip tied her hands, and proceeded to torture her.
On May 2, 2023, the Cleveland Division of Police (CPD) responded to a welfare check at Edmond-Geiger Sr.’s residence. CPD located the victim inside a small plastic container, moaning in pain, on the porch. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. Edmond-Geiger Sr. was arrested on the scene.
Dalontay Edmond-Geiger Sr. has been indicted on the following charges:
• One count of Attempted Murder
• Two counts of Felonious Assault
• One count of Kidnapping
• One count of Tampering With Evidence
• One count of Having Weapons Under Disability

The funds will be used pay medical expenses, rehab costs, provide her basic care and needs, based on her present condition and hopefully improved condition(s) in the future. She will need specialized equipement, bed, wheel chair, etc as well as financial sources to provide her with 24 hr care.

She was an advocate for the Jordan House in Cleveland OH, a mother of two and grandmother of 5.

We thank each and everyone of you who have taken the time to read this, share her story and hopefully able to contribute.
