Help victims of Fort St.John Gunman
Donation protected
Hello my name is Josh Gaudet, I’m fundraising for a very close friend's eldest son, Corey Macdonald and his fiancé Remi Boutilier. On Friday, April 18th, 2025 approx 1:20 pm in Fort St. John, British Columbia, while Corey and Remi were outside their building complex, one of the residents came out wielding a firearm and a machete, once he noticed Corey and Remi sitting in their truck in parking lot he opened fire, thank gawd for Corey’s quick thinking he drove towards firearm wielding individual who was shooting directly at their vehicle in a attempt to incapacitate the gunman. Immediately fleeing scene, Corey realized to his horror Remi was shot in the face and needed immediate medical attention. They were then medivacced from Fort. St. John to Vancouver where they will perform surgery that is needed for Remi’s face. In the meantime the crazed gunman drove his car into their apartment complex which he had already set ablaze . Gunman died at scene. Now Corey/Remi are homeless and all their possessions gone. Including their truck which has been seized for forensics. The magnitude of such horror / loss would be unfathomable. Please help this young couple regain their footing and get back to some normalcy after such a horrific ordeal. There has been media coverage readily available. News articles below
