Help Victims of Russia-Ukraine War

My name is Vlada Haggerty. I was born and raised in Ukraine. It rips my heart into pieces seeing what is happening in my home country.

On February 24th, 2022 Russia had invaded Ukraine and didn't stop shelling and bombing the country, destroying its infrastructure as well as homes, hospitals, kindergartens, theaters, churches, and apartment buildings. Over 950 civilians have been killed already, 115 of them are small children. Larger cities of Ukraine are being bombed almost daily. 90% of Mariupol has been destroyed already and the bombings have not stopped. It's hard to believe that such evil can still exist. 

Over the years I was able to build a community of compassionate people on my IG page and I'm hoping that together we can raise money to help the innocent victims of this horrific war.

Many of you have sent me messages asking where they could donate and who they can trust and it gave me the idea of setting up this GoFundMe so you can donate here and know that your hard-earned money will be used to help women and children, Ukrainian Army, that has been tirelessly protecting the people and the land of Ukraine, as well as animals that were abandoned when their owners flee to save their lives and escape the war.

The money raised through this GoFundMe will be evenly divided and donated to:

 

Masha Efrosinina Foundation: helping women, children, and elderly people of Ukraine who have been displaced, lost their homes or have been otherwise hurt by the war in Ukraine.

 

Armed forces of Ukraine: fighting this war has not been easy. The Army of Ukraine needs money to support the ongoing resistance and to fix captured tanks and other artillery. The money will be donated to the special account set up by the National Bank of Ukraine specifically for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 

Help Victims of Russian aggression in Mariupol : donations will be used to help with the humanitarian needs of victims of Russian aggression. Up-to-date information on the fundraising campaign and use of funds will be provided on the city's official Telegram channel https://t.me/mariupolrada. Personal control over the use of donations will be carried out by the Mayor.

Shelter Ugolyok: nonprofit shelters in Ukraine caring for abandoned animals and also animals of people who are currently fighting Russia in this horrible war.

 

These organizations have been personally verified and donated to by me. I will update you as much as I can, providing screenshots of all the donations made and updating you on any changes in the process.
