Help Victor Get Back to Work

On June 3rd, a little after 8:30 am, Victor pulled into the Home Depot parking lot in Sacramento.  Less then 20 minutes later, after buying a couple things he needed for his clients, he emerged from the store and could not find his truck.  

After the initial horrible realization that his truck had been stolen, Victor's mind started  racing with an inventory of everything that was inside.  Besides the multiple tool sets and tool boxes, he lost a brand new lawn mower and leaf blower, a professional level weed eater, and a powerful chain saw.  He also lost an entire set of Dewalt cordless tools, a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a variety of odds and ends that had accumulated in the truck. 

Victor moved to the United States from Argentina over 20 years ago by himself and without knowing the language.  In that time he became a citizen, a real-estate agent and had a successful career in banking.  Several years ago he moved to Auburn to help care for his In-Laws who had become ill.   When he realized the magnitude of this undertaking he knew he was going to be here for awhile and needed to earn some money.  There were no jobs in banking or real-estate, but Victor had always been strong and never afraid of work.  Since starting as a handyman he has worked incredibly hard, 7 days a week,  building up knowledge and experience to become  much sought after.  Everyone he works for is amazed at how fast he works and unstoppable drive.  To this day his clients tell him he should be charging more for the quality of his work but he would rather help people that need it.  His clients may admire his work ethic and never stop attitude but it is his heart that makes him special and why everyone wants to work with him again.

We, the people, who know and love him, want to try and help him replace the tools and the truck  that were taken from him so can continue to make a living and help the people of this community.
