Support for Baby Jackson and Victoria

On Thursday, July 21, 2022, my best friend, Victoria, tragically lost her fiancé, Sam, when he died at his work site. They were beyond excited to start a family after suffering two miscarriages over the last year and a half. Their son, Jackson, is due this November 2022, and they were over the moon to welcome him with more love than any parents could ever give! It is heartbreaking to go from the joy of preparing to welcome their son to know he will never get to meet his father. Now, Victoria is left to grieve the loss of the love of her life that she spent the last seven years with and also figure out how to pay for everything on her own for the last piece of Sam she is beyond thankful she is blessed with, their baby boy.

She has lost over half of the income that Sam brought into their home, and they had no life insurance to cover his untimely loss. Victoria also does not have any paid maternity leave from her job. While they were prepared for that hit, they were expecting Sam to be here with his salary to cover their expenses. No one expects a tragedy like this to happen at the young ages of 25 (Victoria) and 29 (Sam).
