Help Victoria Cover Medical Expenses & Support her Daughter

Please help a hard working injured single mother get medical treatment and care for her daughter while she recovers from a catastrophic boating injury, which killed her friend.

My name is Victoria N. I came to America in 2017 with my daughter to live the American dream. I found a job and got married. In 2021, I lost my husband to COVID on our 6 month anniversary. I met a good friend, Alena, who also knew the trials of being an immigrant, a young widow and a single mom with kids. She was like family to me.

On July 4, 2024, we were invited on a boat and asked if we wanted to go “tubing.” We agreed. We asked what we needed to do, know or not do and were told to have fun. My daughter filmed us as we floated behind a brand new boat. At some point, the boat was going too fast and the tube went on land and hit a tree. My friend Alena died, and I was seriously injured. I will need surgery, longterm rehabilitation and have a lifetime of injures. I also watched my friend die as she rode in the tube with me. Now, my ability to walk, work and live has been impacted and the courts offer no immediate help.

We have hired a lawyer, but our main focus right now is medical bills and living expenses. I cannot work and a day of celebration has turned into the worst day of my life. This GoFundMe is set up to help us take care of expenses and bills and zero goes to lawyers or legal fees.
