Help Victoria pay her NHS Invoice
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Victoria, currently a second year University student at York St John.
On the 7th of December I started to feel ill; pain everywhere in my body restricting me to move; fever; no voice; and dizziness. On the 8th of December a friend of mine called an ambulance (without me knowing) because I was unresponsive.
Once I was in the hospital, both, my friend and I, were waiting in the busy waiting room. After hours of waiting there, we left with some pills and mouthwash for tonsillitis.
After that, we went back home in a taxi I ordered myself and my friend had to take care of me since I live alone, and wasn’t able to take care of myself.
I’m from Argentina with a student visa in England. In order to pay for the actual visa, I had to previously pay for the IHS. However, being an immigrant means that even that payment has not assured me full safety from receiving large invoices for my health care.
I recently received an invoice for that “treatment” of £762.99.
As you could imagine, not only as an immigrant, but also as a student, I can not pay that huge amount of money by myself.
Moreover, it states that if I were to not pay this invoice it can jeopardise any future visa applications in the UK.
Therefore, I’ve made the decision to set up this GoFundMe in order to help me pay this invoice.
When I applied for my student visa I’ve never imagined that I’d be asking for this monetary help. However, I find myself in a situation where this is necessary.
Alway grateful for any help! I’m always willing to help back!
Thank you all so much, anything and everything is very much appreciated!
Loving regards,
Victoria.
