Help Victoria Represent Trinidad & Tobago in Freediving!

Hi friends, family, and water lovers,

We’re reaching out with an exciting opportunity and a heartfelt ask. Victoria Deonarine, an 18-year-old freediver and student from Trinidad & Tobago, will be attending the Freediving Caribbean Cup in Roatán, Honduras, taking place from May 27–31.

This competition is a gathering of elite freedivers from around the world—and Victoria has earned her place among them. But to make this dream a reality, she needs our support to help cover her travel and competition expenses.

Meet Victoria
“I’m Victoria Deonarine, an 18 year old student and freediver from Trinidad and Tobago. I am currently preparing for exams, but when I'm not buried in textbooks you will find me in the ocean doing what I love most.
Freediving started as a simple curiosity for me, but quickly became something much more meaningful. It's a way for me to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life, and an opportunity to connect with the peacefulness that exists within. It has also been an avenue where I can continue to challenge myself beyond my expectations.”
— Victoria Deonarine

Victoria began her freediving journey at just 16 years old, and in just two short years, she’s gone from beginner to competitor. As one of the few young Caribbean women in the sport, Victoria is breaking barriers and becoming a huge inspiration by showing what is possible!

What the Funds Will Support
  • Roundtrip airfare from Trinidad to Roatán
  • Accommodation for the duration of the competition
  • Meals and local transportation
  • Competition registration fees
  • A small cushion for incidentals or gear needs

Why Support This Journey?
  • Victoria is representing not only herself, but proudly putting Trinidad & Tobago on the map
  • Her story will inspire the next generation of freedivers across the region
  • Your support can help unlock an experience that will shape her life and ripple outward into the community and beyond
  • By supporting this cause, you're not only backing Victoria—you’re uplifting the entire freediving community in Trinidad & Tobago. In just the past few years, a ripple effect has begun, and the local freediving scene is steadily growing. This is more than one athlete—it’s a movement.

Whether you're able to donate $5 or $500, every contribution brings Victoria one step closer to Roatán. And if you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this campaign with others who believe in freedive-driven dreams and the power of community.

Lets help spread awareness about Victoria's journey as the first locally born and trained female freediver representing Trinidad and Tobago at the Caribbean Cup!
