Hope For Vidya — Brain Surgery Needed

My name is Marianne Persaud and today I’m humbly asking for your support on behalf of my dear cousin, Vidwattie Persaud, as we call her, Vid or Vidya. Recently, Vidya was diagnosed with a brain tumor located at the left cerebello-pontine angle, confirmed through detailed MRI and CT scans. The doctors believe it is most likely a Schwannoma, a serious condition that requires urgent surgery.

The tumor has already started to affect her daily life. Vidya is now experiencing hearing loss, problems with balance, and difficulty walking and moving on her own. Without timely surgery, her condition will only worsen, threatening her life.

She urgently needs to undergo surgery to remove the tumor. The cost for booking and performing the surgery is approximately $6 million Guyanese dollars (GYD) which equals to $28,679.81 US Dollar (USD). Any funds sent will be going to Guyana for the surgery.
