Help Vika on Her Road to Recovery

On Saturday, 6/26/2021 Vika was with friends at Indian Lake, Pennsylvania on a bicycle ride at 7am. 5 minutes into the bike ride, while going down a steep hill, Vika lost control of her bike and crashed straight onto the asphalt causing excruciating damage to her body and face.

She broke her jaw and wrist, damaged her teeth, split her lip and chin open resulting in 15 stitches to the face, and gashed open her knee leaving a very deep wound down to the bone. She has road rash all over her body and will require numerous surgeries to fix her broken bones and dental injuries.

This unexpected trauma is a huge financial burden that insurance doesn’t fully cover. Vika is already very overwhelmed because of the emotional toll that this accident has caused, and now the medical bills are already starting to pile up and cause even more stress.

Vika is so grateful to be alive and is humbled by this experience, knowing that this accident could’ve been fatal, and this GoFundMe could’ve been to raise funds for her funeral. Any love and support is appreciated whether it’s encouraging messages or money donated to help offset her expenses ahead. No amount is too small and every little bit helps.
