Help village doctors in Kyrgyz Republic

Привет! Меня зовут Бакыт Эмилжанов, я профессиональный киберспортсмен, играю в Virtus.pro. И сегодня я расскажу не о моей работе, а о моей родине, семье и друзьях, которые попали в беду и нуждаются в нашей помощи.

Я из Кыргызстана, где прямо сейчас идёт вторая волна эпидемии коронавируса. Мой отец и старший брат уже переболели, на данный момент болеют моя мама и тетя.
Почти все мои друзья и знакомые ухаживают за заразившимися родными, часть из этих людей потеряли членов семьи.

К сожалению, многие больницы в Кыргызстане не справляются с огромным потоком пациентов. На момент запуска кампании по официальной статистике в стране уже почти 30 тыс. заражённых, более 1000 летальных исходов. Только за июль число заболевших COVID-19 выросло в четыре с половиной раза. Но цифры и сухая статистика не могут передать всего ужаса, который переживают люди, столкнувшись с эпидемией.

Чтобы лично убедиться в серьёзности ситуации пару дней назад в течение 3 дней мы объехали один из регионов страны, посещая сельские отдаленные медицинские пункты и стационары, передавая им гуманитарную помощь.

К сожалению, мы увидели, что заболевает все больше и больше людей, в результате чего не хватает самых базовых вещей. Врачам не хватает средств индивидуальной защиты, в больницах не хватает кислородных концентраторов, а в отдаленных поселениях их просто нет и люди задыхаются. Не осталось медикаментов, в аптеках закончились нужные лекарства. Из-за этого умирают люди, которых можно было бы спасти.

Мы узнали у врачей, что в первую очередь необходимо для борьбы с COVID-19 и сформировали список самых необходимых вещей, которые мы передадим в самые нуждающиеся точки в отдаленных местах.

Я обращаюсь ко всем неравнодушным людям и киберспортивному коммьюнити.

Прошу оказать любую посильную финансовую помощь. Даже незначительная сумма может спасти жизнь человека. Одна пачка клексана стоит 500 рублей, и он может спасти 1 жизнь. Один кислородный концентратор стоит около 800$ и он способен спасти жизни десятки людей.

Hello! My name is Bakyt Emilzhanov, I’m a professional esports athlete and I play for Virtus.pro. Today, however, I won’t be talking about my career — I will talk about my country, family and friends that are living through some hard times and need your help.


I’m from Kyrgyzstan, and the second wave of coronavirus is hitting it hard already. My father and older brother have already fallen sick and recovered, but my mom and aunt are fighting the virus now. Nearly all of my friends and acquaintances have to take care of their ill family members. Some of them have lost their loved ones to the illness.


Unfortunately, many hospitals of Kyrgyzstan are completely overwhelmed by the enormous stream of afflicted. Since the campaign started, the number of infected has increased dramatically. Now there are more than 30 000 infected with more than 1000 deceased. In Jule alone the number of infected increased fourfold. But raw numbers and cold stats can’t explain the full extent of horror the epidemic-stricken people are going through.


We wanted to see our own eyes what happening and deliver humanitarian aid so we spent 3 days visiting one of our country’s regions including more remote parts. And what we saw was disheartening.


We saw that the ramping up epidemic left the hospitals direly underequipped. Some of the most basic things are gone. Doctors don’t have enough personal protective equipment. Some hospitals don’t have enough ventilators, and some - not even one. Without them, people literally suffocate to death. There’s not enough medicine, pharmacies have run dry, resulting in many completely avoidable deaths.


Thanks to the medical staff, we were able to form a list of the most needed items to aid with COVID-19 relief that we will send to the remote places that need them the most.


I’m calling out to the esports community and everyone willing to help:


Please, help however much you can. Even the smallest contribution can save a life. A pack of Clexane costs $7 and it can save one life. One oxygen concentrator costs around $800, and it can save tens of lives.

Oxygen concentrators - they are used to help COVID-19 patients in critical condition to keep blood oxygen levels at healthy level
Clexane and Oksapar - some COVID-19 patients experience blood thickening. These drugs are used to reduce blood clotting
