Help Vincent Beat Cancer!
Vincent (aka “Pastor Vin”) has dedicated his life to ministry serving in a pastoral role for over 20 years alongside his loving wife Laura. Together with their 8 kids (4 natural and their 4 spouses) and now 9 grandkids, there is a lot to live for! Vincent and Laura have dedicated the past 2+ decades to helping others and now they are asking for your help.
In mid-June, Vincent went to the ER with chest and back pains only to make the shocking discovery that he had cancer. Before he was even able to get over the shock of this announcement, his doctors were encouraging him to move forward with immediate treatment. This has led to Vincent needing to step away from the pulpit for the interim to receive care. In line with this, he has begun aggressive chemotherapy and treatments in order to get him back on the path to wellness. We want to make sure that he and his wife Laura can focus their full energy on his treatments and recovery. It is with this need that we are requesting your help.
As you can imagine, the costs for cancer treatments can be rather substantial and those bills have already begun stacking up in the tens of thousands (expected to go well beyond). In addition, Vincent does not have a typical insurance program which has raised some unique challenges. Both he and his wife belong to a bill sharing ministry that effectively provides coverage, albeit with the expectation that bills won’t be reimbursed for a 2-3 month period, after they have been paid. Furthermore, they do not have pharmacy coverage with this plan, leaving them responsible to pay for extremely expensive medications (in the thousands). All the above has raised the need to generate support in order to remove the focus off of any financial burden. As such we are requesting your help to:
· Provide financial support for expensive medications to help Pastor Vin with treatments
· Create cash relief that will help Vincent and Laura navigate the costly medical bill payments
· Prepare for future treatments & medications beyond the initial costs already generated
· Remove the financial focus of this season in order to help Vincent and Laura focus on the most important thing … total and complete wellness!
