Help Vine of Hope Grow Food and Expand Land
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Kalli Prendergast.
I connected with a gentleman via Instagram whom I was inspiring without even knowing it. I began to learn about his orphanage and his mission. Once I heard and saw what they were going through, I wanted nothing more than to serve and help them.
The land is scarce and as are the resources for food. I was watching and hearing about the kids going days without meals, sleeping in rough terrain and having to overcome negativity in the area... My heart felt a tug.
I am grateful to have a meal each day, roof over my head and choices on who to surround myself with. I now am on mission to raise money for the ones who don't have those luxuries everyday. I want nothing more than to serve the less fortunate, especially Vine of Hope who's on mission to help these kids/ single parents.
As someone passionate about eating healthy, I am excited as Isabirye is ready to grow their own food and expand land to a place much more safe. This will be to help the orphanage not go days without any food, feel safe and teach his kids more life skills.
This fundraiser is to assist Vine of Hope with the funds needed to expand their land and start growing their own food.
I hope you take a second to think about how grateful you are to have the things you do, and feel compelled to give to someone who doesn't but is ready to accept with all the gratitude in their heart.
I will continue to keep everyone in the loop and show where your donations going. Thank you so much.
A message from Isabirye:
Peace and love to the world,
I'm Isabirye Taliki, the founder of the Vine of Hope Foundation-- Orphanage in Uganda which is located in Kamuli District.
I started this ministry in 2018 as an Orphan. I lost my all my family when I was young. I have gone through so many life challenges.. sometimes I used to sleep and stay without eating anything and no one to help. I was struggling.
As time went on, I found a little boy Hasim whose parents background are still not clear. He was young and he was with an old woman who couldn't take care of him so I took initiative and decided to take him under my wing. This is where it began.
Still having nothing but love to these Orphans around Kamuli, I started to host many kids.
I started this non-profit organization to unite Orphans in my area and single parent children together, to give them a life of fulfillment, skills and eternal love. So far the Vine of Hope foundation has 16 children and looking to expand. In order to expand, we need funds and the correct resources.
I am here by forwarding my requesting for a land campaign, that will help us in food production without costs. This will help us cultivate our own food that will feed the orphans effectively and teach them skills. We will be able to put a mixture of nutritious food such as fruits, vegetables, variety of greens, cabbage and herbs that are great in boosting health and immune system.
We will also be able to rear animals like cattle which will help in providing dairy. As well as rearing of domestic birds, hens.
We can get an acre of land at $10,000 or half acre at $8,000. We can do this.
This journey is just beginning but can't be done without Kalli and all of the ones who help. Thank you in advance for all you do for us.
We shall be so grateful if all goes well.
(Edited for you understand a bit better)
