Our friend Violet is stuck in an incredibly tense and hostile apartment and needs funds to cover moving expenses ASAP. Violet is a trans woman, educator, and writer currently living in Brooklyn. Her current living situation exposes her to near-constant transmisogyny, spiking her anxiety and stress levels as she juggles multiple jobs to get by.
No one deserves to live in a constant state of conflict and aggression. We want to put Violet and her sweet cat Esmé in housing that is stable, inclusive, and safe, but she needs money to cover costly move-in fees (First/last month rent + deposit), a truck/van so we can move her belongings, and other miscellaneous expenses as she relocates.
