Help Vitaliy Shabunin to rebuild his arsoned house
Donation protected
On July 23, the house of Ukrainian anti-corruption campaigner Vitaliy Shabunin was arsoned. Luckily, neither he nor anyone of his family was harmed. But now the family of six does not have a home anymore as their house has been severely damaged and needs serious reconstruction. We believe the arson is the result of Vitaliy's proffessional activity, here is official statement of Anti-corruption Action Centre headed by Vitaliy.

UPD Sep 18 Experts assessed that rebuilding of the house will cost approximetaly $50,000. Almost $32,000 has been fundraised in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian legislation, 20% of fundraised costs should be paid as taxes. Currently, construction works have already started, we need to move fast so the family can meet Christmas at their home again.
We are the friends and colleagues of Vitaliy. Many people have asked us how they can help him. The funds from this fundraiser will cover the costs of the initial stage of construction works for rebuilding the house. We'll keep making updates on the process of construction and further needs.
Your help and support is greatly appreciated.
NB! Lyuba Shipovich is co-organizer of this campaign. As the money cannot be sent directly to Vitaliy's Ukrainian account due to GoFundMe rules, Lyuba is named as beneficiary of fundraiser and will be transferring the funds to Vitaliy and his family.
