Need Help with Vet bills from Pitbull attack

Hello, I'm Mike, and I'm reaching out for my sister and her beloved German Shepherd, Major. Major is Michelle's best friend, a big furry teddy bear, and her baby. He sticks to her like super glue everywhere she goes.

Recently, Major was attacked in her front yard by two dogs following the UPS truck. The injuries are severe, as you can see from the photo—deep tears on his neck, puncture wounds inside his ears and on his body, requiring stitches and draining every two days. He was so bad they admitted him into the ICU unit. The vet says that if there are any complications with the puncture wounds in his ear, he'll need surgery and may lose the ear! Major is a family member full of personality and love for Michelle and her family, watching them go through this has been heart-wrenching.

Already, Michelle has spent just shy of $6,000 on Major's medical bills. The vet requires up-front payments for each procedure, and the bills are escalating. Major needs to visit the vet every two days for drain cleaning. With the economy the way it is and a family of three boys, this additional financial strain is tapping her out.
