baby Kaysen born 29 weeks and NICU expenses

Donation protected
Hello  and thank you for taking the time to look at our page, it means a lot and any help is very much appreciated.  here is a little background history and where we are at currently and then will share our experience with our sons birth.  I am asking for help today because my wife recently  had to have  another emergency C Section  late  Christmas night with our son at only 29 weeks.  He is currently In the NICU Unit (started in level 3) level 2 currently "1-9-19" Kaysen is doing great, breathing on his own, and has recently had the incubator he has to live in heat turned off and is having to regulate his own body tempature on his own without the incubators assistance.  He still has to have a feeding tube, but is almost to 4lbs after being born at 3lbs 6oz.  My Wife and 2 daughters (ages 13 & 7) and myself are currently staying in the Ronald Mcdonald House in Pensacola Florida which is about 100 miles from our home in Freeport, Fl.  My daughters are home schooled so my wife will be doing the schooling at the house.  This is our 2nd stay here at the Mcdonald house as we had to stay here back in 2011 when my now 7 year old became lodged under my wifes rib cage and could not move, and ultimately started having difficulties breathing, and hindering her to develop as she should so the Dr's decided to do The emergency C-section at 32 weeks.  I currently  work about  110 miles from the Ronald Mcdonad house and drive to and from work daily which is about 200 miles a day.  I am asking for Help today so i can continue to drive back and forth to work so we can all stay together as a family and help eachother through this tough time. My wife has just recently been approved for medicad  during the pregency (which was a hassle and have had to pay out of pocket for all the dr visits, ultra sounds etc) and we are truly unsure how much of hospital visit and surgery we will have to pay out of pocket as well, so any amount you can or are willing to donate will be much appreciated and going for gas, Dr bills, extra expenses while staying at the Mcdonald house, and help with the donation to the Ronald Mcdonald house after we are able to take Baby Kaysen home...

HERE IS OUR STORY..

Saturday December 22nd started out just as planned, my 82 year old grandfather and i were dropped off at a entry point onto the Florida Trail and planned on a brisk 10-12 mile hike that day, and about 4-5 miles into our hike, (out in the middle of nowhere, i got the call that my wife was going to the ER with contractions, so we had to navigate and hike to a spot where my Aunt cane and picked us up and i made my way to the hospital and my wife, and from that point on it was  a very hard and long 5 days with little to No sleep, sitting by my super hero of a wife Janean Sharp as she battled through pretty much 5 straight days of labor/ contractions on dr's orders of 100% bed rest. we Started out saturday the 22nd at sacred heart in santa rosa and when they couldnt contain or stop her from contractions and was already dilated to 1cm they transferred her to the NICU/labor/birthing unit in Pensacola so they could see if they could reduce contractions and if not so she would already be in the best place for an emergency C section..It was a very long and painful road as i had to watch my wife endure contractions (that she shoulda never had to go through as our youngest daughter was a premature baby that was delivered at 32 weeks and we were suppose to have had a scheduled C section around 38 weeks) that almost put her to tears at times every 4-6 minutes up to 10-15 minutes apart with only about a broken up 6-10 hours of nothing at all due to the medicine, but every time they took her off meds the contractions came back more painful and closer together, so after almost 100 hours of contractions and being in labor, going back and forth on what the dr's were gonna try and do and already at 5cm dilated with contractions at a steady 6 minutes apart Tuesday the Dr's decided it would be best to deliver the baby at only 29 weeks... I am
proud to say that at 10:02pm on 12-25-18 weighing in at a whooping 3lbs 6oz's with a total height of 16 1/4"
Kaysen Dinsmore Marion Sharp
Finally made his appearance into this world just a day or so over 2 months early, and gave us the best Christmas present we could possibly ask for(other than a pony )We added Marion at the very last minute (and i mean the birth certificate lady was there for us to sign and we had to tell her to go adjust it and come back) as i was not aware at that moment that janeans grandfather was born on christmas and could not think of a better way than to Honor both our grandfathers by naming Kaysen after both of them with "Dinsmore & Marion" (Also funny to add that my oldest daughter was born on my grandfathers birthday feb 22nd so 2 of our children have both janean and my grandfathers birthdays ) so a little over 32 hours of being born he has already started breathing on his own, started crawling, and can throw a baseball 3 feet.. Mommy is doing great as well, but can only muster enough energy to throw the ball 2.4 feet, but she is a little sore so will let her slide on that one, but after what i watched her go through i am very surprised she is not in more pain..she is already up walking around, (not fast mind you) but keeps Kaysen company as he crawls ahead of her..haha Seriously though she is and has done a great job and it still blows my mind at how calm and strong she was with everything...Kaysen is currently in level 3 NICU which he will have a long road ahead of him before he will be able to come home, but is completely healthy, and strong for his age..He has to be in a glass box for now, but already has a Zach Morris head of blond hair on him, and like i said is breathing on his own already, and has 4 girls numbers written on the door to his glass box home.He just needs to get used to it all and doing everything on his own, cant live inside his mother forever, Time to Grow up and be a man. Janean and I were Blessed once again to be able to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald house. WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR CONTINUOUS PRAYERS AND SUPPORT THROUGH THIS, and we ask that you keep us in your prayers as it is going to be hard moving forwardas we do not know how long we will be over here while Kaysen adapts to life on the outside (you dont choose the premature birth life, the Premature birth chooses you) ‍and gets strong and healthy enough for us to take home..Thank you once again..
