Help Wade and Corie unexpected medical expenses.

Hello friends. This is Kylee Ball and I am looking for some help for a friend. Corie has been part of my mom gang village over the last year. She has been a friend, and extra pair of hands, and a kind presence in my life.

July 7th, I got a call from Corie, she was in complete shock as she shared that her husband’s aorta began tearing as he was getting ready for the day.

They called 911, this tear also caused the blood flow to his right arm to be blocked and turn purple. This point Wade was at risk of losing his arm. Wade was transferred from Nampa to Boise but discovered that he would have to be flown to Idaho Falls in hopes of finding a surgeon that could help repair the damage in his heart and to possibly save his arm.

Corie’s doctor was very realistic as Wade flew away that the chances of Wade surviving were very minimal. It’s truly been like watching a miracle as Wade is alive, was taken off the ventilator on July 17th, and is projected to continue to get better. They were able to save his arm though they are not sure at this time what kind of damage is caused for long term recovery.

Corie has been one of the strongest mama’s and wives I have ever witnessed. It is nothing short of amazing that Wade is still with Corie and their sweet daughter Reily.

I have been a bit annoying asking Corie if I could start a gofundme. I know the road they have had to walk in these last couple weeks and I know the rehab world ahead is also extensive. Right now the prognosis is still several weeks in the hospital for Wade and then possibly assisted living. Corie is trying to travel back and forth to Idaho Falls, work to make sure they have insurance, and be a solo mama to Reily right now. Please consider helping this family as they have loss of wages for wade, travel expenses between Nampa and Idaho Falls, and a million other things during this recovery process.
