(English to follow)

URGENTMass Starvation Is Closing In on Waed’s Family
Waed is doing everything she can to keep her one-year-old son Ahmed alive.
After fleeing their apartment under evacuation orders, Waed and her family have been living in a tent, battling both extreme heat and hunger.
She is too weak to walk some days. On others, she forces herself up and spends hours under the scorching sun searching for food—often finding nothing.
Even when food is available, prices are unimaginable: sugar now costs $180 per kilo, and a single bag of flour is $30. It’s completely out of reach.
Her baby, Ahmed, just turned one in June. He needs proper nutrition to survive, but the family can only access one sachet of fortified peanut paste per day—when they can get even that. It’s far from enough.
Gaza’s malnutrition crisis is accelerating. According tgo Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the number of severely malnourished children under 5 has tripled in just the past two weeks.
Waed’s family has no income. No support. And now, no time.
“All I want is for my son to reach his next birthday, safe and smiling.”
You can be the difference between life and death for this family.
Just a few dollars can provide them with a critical meal—today.
Please, donate whatever you can. Every contribution counts.
One of the Worst Hunger Crises on Earth
Today, the entire population of 2.1 million people in Gaza face extreme, prolonged food shortages.
Roughly 500,000 are classified as Phase 5—catastrophic famine—by the IPC scale, the highest level of food insecurity. This includes acute malnutrition, starvation, and death.
When bodies are severely weakened by hunger, reintroducing food too suddenly can be dangerous. Combined with dehydration, poor sanitation, and collapsing health infrastructure, the risks are deadly.
Just days ago, over 100 international NGOs—including Oxfam and MSF—issued an emergency statement warning that mass starvation is underway in Gaza. They condemned Israel’s blockade and obstruction of humanitarian aid.
This is one of the worst hunger crises in the world.
