Help Wafaa and Her Children Survive Gaza War

Hello everyone, my name is Stephanie, and I am the campaign holder for my friend Wafaa. I am from the United States, and am raising funds on her behalf. She is currently living in the northern Gaza Strip with her four children. Her husband was martyred in the war and she needs help raising funds to support herself and her children. I will transfer funds to her when she requests them. Please help me in supporting Wafaa and her family. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Here is her story.
“I am Wafaa Mahmoud, a mother of four children.
I used to live a simple life, but one filled with hope. I owned a small beauty salon, my only source of income, which allowed me to support my children and provide for their needs. Life wasn’t easy, but it was decent enough for us to live in peace.
However, since the war in Gaza began, our lives have changed completely. Every day has become a nightmare. The bombs never stop falling, and the sound of planes keeps us in constant fear. My home, which was once our safe haven, was completely destroyed in one of the strikes. Suddenly, we found ourselves homeless, without food, without water, and without hope. Everything I had built through years of hard work vanished in an instant.
The worst part is that my son, Moaz, who is 10 years old, has suffered lung damage due to phosphorus and the toxic gases he inhaled during the bombing. He now struggles to breathe and urgently needs medical treatment, but I don’t have the money to cover the costs. His condition worsens day by day, and I can’t bear to watch him suffer without being able to help.
My children, including Moaz, cannot stop crying. They are terrified by the sounds that fill the nights and days, asking me why they can’t sleep in their beds, or why we no longer eat what we used to like. How can I explain to them that I have nothing left? All we have now are a few blankets, and the heart of a mother torn between trying to protect them and fearing I might lose them.
We don’t know how long we will remain like this. We are not asking for much—just for safety to return and for food and water so we can live. And I desperately need to treat Moaz before his condition worsens further. Please, whoever can offer a helping hand, we are in desperate need of assistance. All I want now is to see my children sleep without fear, to give them a warm meal after days of hunger, and to see Moaz breathe normally again.
This is not just a war on a city or a country; it is a war that is stealing my children’s childhood and leaving us broken without a future. Please, help us.”
