Hello everyone, My name is Wafaa Awad, I am 37 years old mother to 3 children, My eldest Kareem (14), Ahmed (7) and Malik (3).

I was 3 months pregnant with Malik in the war of 2021 and I suffered from the terror and fear of the bombardment and air strikes, I couldn't get access to certain medications and food because of the war in 2021. Now, Malik is a 3 year old kid who is suffering along with all my children in front of my eyes due to the lack of food, water, medication and hygiene. I can't explain how sad and heartbreaking it is to see my kids suffering from what I have had suffered in 2021.

Since the war started on October 7th, the eyes seen above what you can imagine, the ears heard above what you can imagine and me and my family's feelings suffered from how horrific this war is and how it psychologically destroyed us before physically.

Since the war started we've lost many and many relatives and friends and people in the neighbourhood who were killed by the IDF, many houses and homes were destroyed, and families were split and some of them got killed. In February, My next door neighbours were bombed by an Israeli Airstrike which killed their family and my house was destroyed and burnt, we were all sleeping and the minute it happened it felt like it's the end of the world, me and my husband woke up terrified running for our lives and ran into our children's room, I was so scared I'd loose one of them but thank God they all survived and we all went off running in the streets, all scared for their lives, we were sad that we've lost my entire neighbours' family, all civilians who hadn't to have any association with any political groups. Since then, Me and my family had moved into my mother's apartment which was few towers down from ours.

Few days later, Hamad city (Khanyounis) was segued by the IDF tanks and soldiers, this was the scariest and hardest moments n since the war started, there was gun shells, air strikes and it was a battlefield filled with civilians who were terrified for their lives along with US. after almost 4 days of continuous segue and fighting and air strikes in Hamad city, we moved into a tent in Rafah (south Gaza) with my husband and 3 children. We suffered from the better cold, lack of food, water, medicine and electricity. There are all different type of deceases that target kids with weak immune system like my children. The prices of food and simple needs in Rafah is outstandingly expensive and unaffordable, We can't buy food for my kids or medicine if they needed.
