Help Waiswa complete medical school

Since spending summer 2010 in Mayuge, Uganda, I have kept in touch with a young man there named Waiswa. He is currently in the middle of medical school, where he is studying to become a physician. There is a great need for doctors in Uganda, but few resources for less advantaged students to complete their training. Waiswa is in need of funding for his remaining tuition.

His immediate need is for ~$700 to pay his tuition balance for the current semester. In the longer term, he needs about $2,000 to pay the tuition for his remaining semesters. Waiswa is in his third year at Kabale University in western Uganda, working on his degree in medicine and surgery.
