Donation protected
Hi, I am Amanda and I am a Brit who has become friends with a family and their friends in Gaza since the beginning of 2024.
This campaign is for Walaa, Abd and their family. Please read their experience in Abd’s own words below and help by donating and sharing to this campaign:
Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,
I am reaching out to you today with an urgent please to support my beloved family in Gaza . Due to the ongoing war, our situation has become increasingly dire especially my sister walaa who is suffering from T8 and T12 spine fractures so she is paraplegic can’t walk.
Our home has been destroyed, and we have lost family members in the war. Despite these unimaginable hardships, my family remains resilient, choosing to stay in Gaza, as evacuating them all would be prohibitively expensive due to our large number.
However, we urgently need your help to survive.
*Meet My Family:*
1) My mother (59 years old): A pillar of strength who has always put her family first.
2) Walaa (33 years old): My sister, who is a special needs individual, requiring constant care and support.
3, 4) Mohammad (my brother) and his wife: Struggling to provide for their three young children.
• Abboud (6 years old)
• Qamar (5 years old)
• Eileen (8 months old)
5) Asmaa (my sister): A devoted mother and courageous woman trying to raise her four children amidst the chaos.
• Leen (8 years old)
• Younis (7 years old)
• Zeina (6 years old)
• Hammad (4 years old)
6) Shatha (17 years old): My sister, a young girl with dreams and hopes for a better future.
7) Ahmed (19 years old): My brother, who missed his first year of university due to the war.
8) Aseel (25 years old): My sister, a loving and determined mother striving to provide a brighter future for her two young children.
• Mariam (5 years old)
• Her 1-year-old son
9)Sara (14 years) youngest sister
*Our Needs:*
The war has stripped away the stability and security we once knew. With no jobs available and merchants in Gaza taking advantage of the situation by inflating prices, it has become nearly impossible to afford basic necessities.
*We urgently need funds to:*
1) Buy food and water: To ensure the children and family members do not starve.
2) Pay rent for an apartment: To provide a safe and stable shelter.
3) Cover medical needs: Especially for Walaa, who requires special care.
*Why Your Help Matters:*
Despite the unimaginable hardships, my family has no choice but to remain resilient and stay in Gaza. Evacuating them all would cost an enormous amount of money, which is currently beyond our reach. Your generous donations will provide the critical support they need to survive these challenging times.
By donating, you are not just providing food and water; you are giving my family hope and the means to endure. The children, who are in their crucial growth phase, need proper nutrition to stay healthy. Your help ensures they can eat well and thrive despite the circumstances.
*How You Can Help:*
Please consider donating whatever you can to support my family. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in their lives. Together, we can help them stay strong and resilient until this war ends.
Donate now to give my family a fighting chance to survive and stay resilient in Gaza.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
