Help Walaa’s family reunite and survive genocide
Donation protected
My name is Walaa. I lived a nice life with my husband, Mahmoud. The war not only destroyed our home, but we also lost our jobs and our dreams. We have two small daughters, Reem and Maria. My daughters and I left Gaza after 160 days of a hard life in war. Unfortunately, we had to leave my husband Mahmoud behind in Gaza, and he is now under constant bombing. He was displaced from Rafah and is now in Al-Mawasi with very difficult conditions. The girls and I are waiting for him.
My daughter Reem loves her father and says 'baba' all day. When she was sick, she just wanted to be with her father. Any donations will help us reunite our family and survive this genocide. Thank you for reading my story. - Walaa
My name is Dylan Keese-Forster. I am Walaa's friend and an American citizen from Los Angeles, currently living in Cairo, where Walaa and her daughters are currently displaced. I took over this fundraiser from Chloe Kiedaisch, because I am able to withdraw the funds here in Egypt using my American bank account and deliver them directly to Walaa. 100% of the funds raised will be given to Walaa and her family. The first $5k raised will cover the travel expenses to reunite Walaa and her husband. The rest will go toward rebuilding their lives. We will share updates as we are able. Thank you for your support.
