Help Waldir overcome his battle with Colon Cancer

Hi, my name is Jess and I am fundraising to help my dad fight colon cancer and be able to maintain quality of life throughout his fight. My dad is my hero and a man who has set the bar high for what hard work looks like. He is not only a supportive and loving father, but a strong and passionate man, who has never once failed to be there for his family. No matter what life has thrown him, his family was always the most important aspect. Unfortunately, life has changed in the last couple of months for him, and we all are working to give that love and support, he showed us and provided to us, right back to him.

Waldir received his cancer diagnosis almost 3 months ago and has been fighting ever since. He has been going through chemo and radiation, feeling the side effects that make the day-to-day tasks almost impossible. The nausea, fatigue and pain are always there but his doctors are trying to minimize it with medication, however, he still struggles. My father's main job right now is beating this cancer, and although I am trying, it is hard to support our family and his treatments.

As hard as this journey is, we want to provide the same love and support to our father as he has always shown to us. This GoFundMe is to try to help decrease the financial stress and help my father, Waldir, stay focused mentally and physically on beating this cancer.

We hope that by reaching out to our community in our time of need, it can help Waldir continue the fight and beat cancer. So that he may be in our lives for many years to come, loving his family, watching his grandbabies grow up, celebrating as many wonderful years as possible with his wife Ester, and getting back on the pitch to enjoy playing his most loved sport, soccer.
