Help Walk On Mars Reclaim Their Music and Independence

Dear friends and supporters,

If you’ve been searching for Walk On Mars’ tracks like “Voodoo Barbie” and “Fraud” on your favorite streaming platforms, you may have noticed they’ve disappeared. This isn’t by choice. Due to a troubling entanglement with a company from my past, my music has been taken down, leaving me heartbroken and completely lost. They didn’t just take away my music— they took away the lifelong dreams of a little girl who just wanted to sing.

Along with myself, other independent artists that I respect and love so much were also affected by this situation. Jack The Underdog and I had done a Swemo version of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, Mitch Rip had me feature on his own song “Stay Away”, and Joey cxp had me feature on his song “Resuscitate”. All of these songs were removed as well. My heart breaks for them and for every independent artist out there who has had their art taken away from them. Taking advantage of people with big dreams, aspirations, and talents by small and large companies is far too common in the industry. I am tired.

Music has always been my light, my passion, and my purpose. In the last year, your incredible support allowed me to release songs that truly represented my soul—music created without restrictions or control. The success and love you showed me brought back a piece of myself I thought was gone forever.

Now, that joy has been stripped away. But I refuse to be silenced. Despite the darkness of this situation, I am committed to fighting for my art and my independence. Your support will help cover legal fees, lost revenue, and the resources needed to regain control over my music—so it can never be taken away again.

In the meantime, I’ll keep creating, sharing new posts, rewrites, and bringing a little laughter and positivity to this fight. This journey isn’t over; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter.
