Help Wally Win This Battle
Donation protected
Hello Friends, Family, Acquaintances, and caring others.
As many of you know, my brother Wally was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October 2019. At that time he had a PSA level of 133 and 75% of his prostate was filled with cancer. The decision was made to undergo prostate surgery to remove his prostate and begin a radiation and hormone therapy regimen.
After 3 years of various treatments, countless tests, and a rollercoaster of good and bad diagnoses, in August of 2022, Wally was given the heartbreaking news that his cancer had spread to his bones and lymph nodes and his prognosis was uncertain. But Wally did not give up or accept a less-than-positive outcome.
Given Wally's tenacious personality, he had already begun his own research and was determined to find a better way to treat his cancer long before the August 2022 news. Through his relentless research, he has discovered alternative treatments/medications for his cancer which have proven to be very successful for others while still maintaining a generally good quality of life. Unfortunately and not surprisingly, these treatments are tough to get and not supported by insurance companies. Furthermore, they are extremely expensive and must be paid for out of pocket.
This is why I, along with his family, am asking for your help. We know that Wally has the perseverance, grit, and motivation to beat his cancer, he just needs the tools to help him win this battle. Any financial support that you might be willing to donate would be so greatly appreciated and will allow Wally the chance to get the treatments and medications he so desperately needs to overcome this horrific disease!
Wally has always been bigger than life and has given so much to the people around him. Getting him to accept help hasn’t been easy, but we know this is what he needs now. Your support, be it financial, or prayers and good thoughts, will mean so much to him.
On behalf of Wally and his family, THANK YOU!!
