Help Walt and Kim Boyes

We are setting this account up to help with immediate and long-term expenses for Walter Boyes. Walt was severely injured in a car accident on Thursday, November 18th. He broke his neck and suffered devastating spinal cord damage.

After emergency surgery where a part of his C-spine was removed and reconstructed, he was diagnosed with central cord syndrome and a cervical neck fracture causing paralysis lasting six months to a lifetime. His wife, Kim, started a new job just days prior to the accident and is currently taking family medical leave without pay. She has been at the hospital daily to care for Walt, who is unable to do anything on his own. She also has the extra burden of having to look for a new car.

Walt is currently waiting to be transferred to a rehabilitation center resulting in a relocation for them both.

Walt’s humor and positive spirit prevails, yet he has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
