Hello friends, family and kind-hearted strangers.

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Perla Guzman, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit as I share the story of my beloved friend, Wanda Anstead.

Wanda was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in July 2020 and fought a long hard battle coming out on top. Unfortunately, in March 2023 they found cancer in her lung lining which she had 5 radiation treatments. In August 2023 they found more cancer around the pancreas area. She had a port placement on September 8th, 2023, and started chemotherapy Sept. 15, 2023. This challenging journey has taken a toll on her and family emotionally, physically, and financially. As they navigate through this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for support. Now, as she faces the battle again, we are determined to stand by her side every step of the way.

The cost of cancer treatment is a burden that no family should face alone. Medical bills, chemo treatment, medications and other related expenses have quickly added up, creating a financial strain that is difficult to bear. This is where we humbly ask for your support.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to reach out to our friends, family and community in providing the financial assistance Wanda needs for her cancer treatment. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering medical bills, medications, transportation to and from treatment and any unforeseen expenses that may arise during this challenging time.
