Help Wayne get back on his feet (paws)

For those that don’t know me, my name is PJ. I work for a nonprofit and helps veterans dealing with PTSD. I’m also working on my PhD so I can be in a position to help more people. I am a mother to an absolute fur baby named Wayne. He is a rescue dog who just turned 7 last month. He IS my life. He may look like a beast but this 90 lb dog is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet in your entire life.

I recently went through a traumatic injury with my leg and apparently Wayne had sympathy pains and wanted to be in the same boat as his mom.

Wayne has torn the ligament in his left knee and is dealing with severe muscle atrophy. He’s in pain and needs surgery as soon as possible so we don’t have to do surgeries on both knees.

I’m struggling to deal with my own medical bills and this is why I am asking for help. I may have rescued him from a bad environment but he rescued me when I was in a bad place. Any donations will help and be appreciated more than you know.

Surgery is scheduled for August 29th and will cost over $6500 and he will also need some physical therapy after his procedure.
