Help Wendy and her boys rebuild after the LA fires

Donation protected
On the morning of January 8, 2025, the community of Pacific Palisades was abruptly transformed as a relentless wildfire swept through the area. Among the many affected is our dear friend, Wendy, and her family. Wendy got the call from her sons' school to come pick them up that morning. She grabbed her dog and nothing else...

Their home, filled with many sweet memories, was reduced to ashes, excepting one beautiful 4ft tall cement Buddha in their front yard. Her car, essential for daily life and her sons' school commute, was abandoned on the side of road when LAFD forced everyone to evacuate on foot during evacuation gridlock. Even her sons' school, St Matthews, is gone. In a matter of hours, the foundations of their lives were gone.

Despite this profound loss, Wendy's beautiful spirit shines through. She remains steadfast, providing comfort and hope to her sons, even as they face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives again. Her first purchase was two stuffed animals for her boys as comfort during this time, but they literally have nothing else.

In this time of need, we have established a GoFundMe campaign to support Wendy and her family. The funds will assist in securing temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, and ensuring her sons can continue their education without too much interruption.

Wendy has always been the first to offer help to others, embodying the spirit of generosity and community. Her family needs our support. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact, providing the resources and hope necessary for them to rebuild their lives.

Please consider donating to their GoFundMe page and sharing their story within your networks. Together, we can help them rebuild.

I met Wendy 4 years ago when our paths crossed at our children's school. Our sons became fast friends, soul brothers, and she has remained one of my dearest friends since then.
