Help Wendy Visit Her Ailing Father

Hello, my name is Dory and I created this GoFundMe for my friend Wendy whose father is battling terminal stage 4 metastatic lung cancer and may enter hospice in the near future. We are trying to raise funds for her and her three children to fly from San Diego to Florida to see her dad and her children’s grandfather while he is battling this illness.

Wendy and her dad have always been there for each other and he is her best friend. He has been an amazing grandpa and this sad news has been extremely difficult for her and her children. The visit will be for her and the kids to spend time with him before the cancer progresses.

Unfortunately, finances are tight for Wendy’s family due to health challenges resulting from two surgeries in the last two months, forcing her to be out of work. Thus, the need for this financial plea.

Wendy is also open to tickets purchased by frequent flyer points. Her intention is to fly Southwest airlines since that appears to be the most cost-effective airlines.
