Help! We’re Stranded And About To Lose Everything

Hi, we’re Déja and Amber and we’re small business owners

We just got our family out of an extremely problematic apartment rental, but the temporary place we found to live is 700 miles away, and we had to leave nearly everything we own behind

We were thankfully able to stash all our belongings in a local garage for a few days, but we need to find a way to move everything to a longer term storage solution

Normally, we would have money from the holiday rush to work with, but this holiday season was so bad for our business that we literally have nothing right now, and all of the products, supplies, and equipment we need for our small business are stranded with the rest of our belongings

We need your help to get our belongings somewhere safe where we can get back to work.

We’ve updated our goal to reflect the final estimates for what it will cost to secure a safe place near us for our belongings and to transport everything the 700 miles required

Nearly the entire expense is because we are required to hire a professional freight company to transport everything to the south. Neither of us has a commercial driver’s license, and so the largest vehicle we are allowed to drive here is a van. We did the math, and between van rental, gas, and tolls, hiring professionals with an HGV is genuinely the cheapest option.
