Help Wes Get Their Top Surgery

Wes is in need of some community support as they prepare for their top surgery. I grew up with Wes in Pennsylvania and know them to be an incredibly thoughtful, kind, and selfless person. Not to mention an extremely hard worker. They are in need of funds to be able to lock in a date for their top surgery and take time off of work.
Wes has been waiting for a potential surgery date since their consultation well over a year ago. This surgery would not only be affirming, but is essential to improve their quality of life.
Wes just started a new job, got a new apartment, and will undergo insurance changes within the next few months, resulting in the loss of state aid. On top of all of this, they have Type 1 diabetes that they are managing. The diabetes alone is extremely costly to maintain. The healthcare system and insurance feels impossible to navigate and, as we know, ridiculously expensive.
The funds would allow Wes to:
1. Officially schedule their surgery. Possibly as early as late November.
2. Cover any copays or medical bills remaining after insurance.
3. Take the necessary time off of work to heal post surgery.
4. Cover rent payments, car insurance, and other household bills during the unpaid time off of work.
5. Feed themselves during the recovery period, pay for any Ubers to follow up appointments since they will not be able to drive right away.
6. Feel like they are actually able to move forward with this process without the financial cloud hanging above them.
