Help Wesley Mason & Family with medical expenses

On Feb 1, 2024, my cousin Nadine Meyerriecks and her husband Wesley Mason had an emergency situation arise.
Wesley had an internal ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) implanted recently. Silently, that ICD and its wires leading to his heart became infected. On Feb 1st, Wesley was transported via ambulance to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. He has undergone a lengthy five and a half hour procedure to remove the implantation. Unfortunately, in the days following that, he experienced a series of issues as a result of the infection and surgery. Due to those issues, Wesley and Nadine remain in Massachusetts, awaiting resolution and a second surgery to implant a new cardiac device. Although these procedures are extraordinarily expensive, the only thing that matters is his life. I’ve created this GoFundMe to simply help with the cost of their increasingly long hotel stay, hospital and hotel fees, food, ect. Although the family is now 4-5 hours away from them, this is our way of helping alleviate the unexpected, financial stress.
If you know Wesley and Nadine, you know that they are generous people both together and individually. If Wesley has ever helped you with your car, your house, fixing equipment, troubleshooting tools; if he’s ever told you a joke and made you laugh, picked up your spirit or gave you advice that you didn’t know you needed….then now is when he needs you.
