Hi, I am Wessam Abed. I live in Gaza City and I am 29 years old. Lecture at the University College of Applied Sciences, I have a small family consisting of my wife Tassnim, and my son Yazan, my child is under two years old.

My son completed his first year in the first month of the war.

Before the war, our lives were simple. I was married three years before the war, and I built a simple house where we lived. We live a simple life in safety.

During the war, I lost both my house and source of income. My only house was destroyed. We have been drowning in debts to buy our home by installment payments, unfortunately, still, many payments have not been paid yet nearly 25,000$, was destroyed and it became uninhabitable later.

Now, more than seven months into the war we have lost everything, there is no safe place, no place available for human living, I have been moving from one place to another in search of a safe place, because our house was destroyed in north Gaza strip, here in Gaza, none of the ingredients of life can survive in an environment contaminated with garbage, bombs, and sewage without food or medicine.

we have been enduring the devastating impacts of war for over ten years. Our daily existence is fraught with challenges as we lack access to fundamental necessities such as electricity, clean water, and adequate food and clothing. The scorching sun beats down on us as we navigate the unsafe streets, constantly searching for a secure location. The pervasive fear we experience is overwhelming, and the struggle to find sustenance is a relentless battle. Our meals consist of meager and often spoiled offerings, with the absence of fresh produce for nearly ten months now. Providing essentials like milk and diapers for my two-year-old son has become an insurmountable challenge. In the midst of this protracted hardship, any kind of support would be immensely appreciated. Even the smallest contribution, such as $5, equivalent to the cost of a piece of candy, can truly make a difference in our quest for security and the means to break free from the harrowing conditions of war. I write my story from inside Gaza from hell and fear and terror that we see every day we see death every day, every night the sound of bombing that terrifies I can't provide my son with milk, pampers and food, no healthy food. Garbage is everywhere in our lives between the aggregates. My son, who is not yet two years old, did not receive the necessary vaccinations due to the absence of hospitals or health centers. We just want to live safely away from war, destruction, and terror.

I want to leave Gaza for the rest world via Egypt. The cost of leaving Gaza to Egypt is too expensive. The cost per person is about $5,000. I want to leave Gaza to build a new life and provide for the needs of my child and my wife, she has not completed her education in Gaza, and the cost of her education is about $9,000.

(At this moment, the Rafah crossing has been closed by the Israeli military, but Gazans are still submitting applications for travel permits so that when it reopens, their paperwork will be already in the queue.)

Why do we want money:

• temporarily traveling to a safe place where I can protect the lives of my family my wife and my son, 3 people every person, $5,000. That's the cost of leaving Egypt just to protect them and to live a decent life.
• Rebuilding my house, which has been destroyed in the war.
