Help West Newton Cinema
Donation protected
This page was started by the children of David Bramante, who, along with his brother Jimmy, has owned the West Newton Cinema, an independent film house, for over 40 years.
Over the course of our entire life, we have watched our father pour his blood, sweat and tears into the Cinema. It is because of his work, along with the community that has supported the business, that the movie theater has been a part of birthday parties, film festivals, first dates, school field trips, proposals, family & treasured films, the list goes on...
During this uncertain time in our society, the movie theater, along with many other small businesses, is at risk. It is with this in mind that we have put together this GoFundMe page. We post this humbly, knowing that our father, our family, and his business are not the only ones feeling the financial impact of the Coronavirus. However, we ask that if The West Newton Cinema has been a part of your life at some point in the past 40 years, you consider donating to this fund so that the theater can continue to be part of the community for years to come.
We can't do curbside movies, or popcorn delivery, but to show our thanks we can give you a popcorn on us the next time we see you, if you mention that you donated.
The money raised here will help pay bills and operating expenses that will continue to be owed during the weeks & months ahead. Any additional funds raised will be put towards theater upgrades.
We wish that everyone remains safe and healthy during this uncertain time.
With Love & Gratitude,
Bridget, Bonnie & Russell
